Kick-off times are UK time.

How many Premier League fixtures are there in a season?

The Premier League has 20 clubs, and each club plays every other club twice, once at home and once away. That gives each side 38 league matches and the whole competition 380 fixtures. The season is split into 38 matchweeks, and most clubs play once in each.

In other words, every club hosts 19 league games and travels for 19 more. Because of cup matches and European fixtures, some clubs play on different days from their rivals, so a matchweek can stretch across several days.

Why do Premier League kick-off times change?

Kick-off dates and times can move after the first list is published. Broadcast selections, cup ties and European matches are the usual reasons, and a match may shift to a different day or time as a result. For that reason, check the list again close to the game, particularly before you plan travel.

The list above refreshes automatically, so it shows the latest dates the data feed has. If a match is postponed, it may stay on the list until the new date is confirmed.

How can I plan around the Premier League fixtures?

Look at stretches of three to five matches rather than a single game. A club with several home games in a row has a different outlook from one that travels three times in a fortnight, and the list above lets you see that pattern quickly. However, remember that cup ties and European matches can add extra games that are not shown on this league list.

It also helps to compare how the clubs are playing. For example, a side in good form facing a run of home matches may be worth watching closely, while a side that has lost several in a row may face a difficult spell. The form table and our predictions pages give that context.

What should I check before travelling to a Premier League match?

Confirm the kick-off time on the day you book, because broadcast selections can change it. Buy tickets only from the club or its official channels, and check the travel options for the date, as engineering works can affect the route. Meanwhile, keep an eye on the list above in the days before the game.

If a match is postponed, the club will announce the new arrangements, and the list updates once the data feed has the new date.

Why can clubs have different numbers of games on the same date?

Clubs do not always play the same number of league games by a given date. Cup ties, European matches and postponements shift fixtures, so one club can have a match in hand over another. As a result, the Premier League table can look uneven for a time before it evens out.

How do I use the Premier League fixtures list?

Each row shows the home club, the away club and the date and time of the match. Use it to plan which games to follow, and look at several weeks together to see which clubs have a run of difficult or easy matches.

Moreover, you can pair the list with our Premier League predictions, which give a clear pick and the reasoning for the coming games. The Premier League table shows how the clubs involved are placed, and the form table shows who is playing well right now.

Where can I see results and scores for these fixtures?

Once a match is played, the score moves from the fixtures list to our Premier League results page. During a match, our live scores page shows the current score.

For a single club, open its profile from our club pages, where you will find its own fixtures, results, squad and history. The Premier League hub brings the table, results and scorers together in one place.

What is the difference between fixtures, results and live scores?

Fixtures are matches that have not been played yet, results are final scores of finished matches, and live scores show games in progress. Because of that, a match moves through three pages in a single day: it starts as a fixture, appears on the live scores page while it is played, and ends up on the results page.

For example, you can check the fixtures list on Friday for the weekend, follow the games on Saturday through live scores and then read the final scores afterwards. In short, each page answers a different question, and together they cover the whole matchday.

Where does the data come from?

The figures come from API-Football, a licensed football data provider. We do not edit the numbers by hand, and we do not estimate results. If something looks wrong, tell us through our about page and we will check it against the match reports.

This matters because accuracy is the point of a data page. Our editorial policy explains how we handle corrections and how often each feed updates.

How often does this page update?

The page updates automatically through the day, usually within about 10 minutes of new data arriving. We cache the feed briefly to keep the page fast and to stay within our data limits. As a result, a goal from a minute ago may not show straight away.

If the data feed is unavailable, the page shows the last saved version instead of an error, and it shows a clear message if no saved version exists.
